Purpose:  As a church “Called by God’s grace to love and serve”, we reach out to those in need in our community to provide assistance and support.

We support the Spokane Valley Partners’ Food Bank with monthly “Fill the Shelf” donations and funds. We also offer a “Dinner to Go” the first and third Friday of every month from 5-6 pm. You may call the Church office to sign up for a meal or just show up! Advent also collects school supplies for the Central Valley Student and Family Engagement Center in the summer and socks and warm clothing for Blessings Under the Bridge in the fall.  A Christmas Tree of Sharing provides gifts for needy families and seniors. A Vitalant blood drive is held at Advent twice a year in August and January. We are open to other suggestions of need in our community!
