Here are some of the ways that we will be preparing for All Saints Day this Sunday!

All Hollow’s Eve (Halloween) or All Souls Eve:

Church and Child Center staff showing our costumes for the kids (and adults) who are wandering in the church…

Tomorrow night we have Come to Friday dinner from 5:00pm-6:00pm (note the time has not changed yet!!) Sloppy Joes and fixin’s are on the menu!

At 5:30pm our St. Arbucks group (High School youth) will be travelling to the haunted corn maze for screams and giggles.  Hopefully we will find our way out!

And finally, remember to set your clocks back Saturday night one hour (Fall back).  It’s Daylight Savings Time (one more time?)

On Sunday morning we will remember those who have died in the past year.  There will be an opportunity for you to light a candle (or two) for friends, family, and those close to you.

Eternal God, hope of all who trust in you,

 in Christ you weep with those who mourn

 even as you cry out in triumph over the grave.

 Unbind us from sin, release us from captivity,

 and with Lazarus, raise us from death to life,

 so that we may join that great crowd of saints

 who forever sing praise to your holy name;

 through Christ, the resurrection and the life.  Amen
